Estonian food workshop

Estonian food is organic and unprocessed. It's grumee - fresh farm produce is transformed into delicious dishes using technologies created by grandmothers.

Snowball soup

We cook in the rhythm of the seasons. It doesn't matter what time of year it is - there is always something delicious and healthy to put on the table. We also follow the important days of the folk calendar - we have our own dishes for Shrovetide, Easter, Midsummer, Christmas, etc. In the spring, we use weeds, and in the winter, our dishes are with meat and blood.

Dishes we cook and then eat together: snowball soup, Mulgi porridge, pea or sauerkraut soup, barley bread, whipped cream with kama, and different turnip foods.

Dishes on opened fire

Our own chickens lay eggs for us. We use organic whole-grain flours and other Estonian raw materials.

Workshop lasts about 2 hour.

The training is conducted by an Estonian food culture specialist and food semiotician.
