Estonian Sauna differs from Finnish and Russian sauna – do not mix them.

Estonian sauna isn´t as hot as Finnish. The temperature rises up to 60-80 degrees – it is the best for relaxation. Sweating starts easily, especially when to throw off steam (with herbs, hops, aromas). Steam comes from hot stones heated by natural firewood, not by electricity. Then the heat is as healthy as it can ever be.

Old Estonians used a whistler in the sauna to boost their health - when another person whistles, the body can completely relax and go into a meditative state of well-being, which our ancestors called "falling in love".
